Education is the most important thing in a young person's life.

My time at ESTibet is going by so fast - only two and a half weeks left! When I came here, Dharamsala seemed like the most exotic destination in the world. Now it seems like home, and its residents - well, they seem like people. Just people.

The school aims high, and it asks the teachers and students to aim high as well. We teachers are lucky - our students have demonstrated their motivation by walking through the cold mountain passes of the Himalayas to get here and further their education. How many teachers can say that of their students? Still, once they are here, it's hard, patient work that gets the job done.

Education is the most important thing in a young person's life. And one of the greatest pleasures in the world is to help that young man or woman to gain the skills and understanding that will enable them to build a good life for themselves, their families and their community. I have really enjoyed my time here at ESTibet. I've met some great people and totally support this wonderful school.

Tashi delek!
